Last night Kirsten Jorgenson gave a book release reading for SEDIMENT & VEIL at the Utah Book Festival, and Tim Earley read from POEMS DESCRIPTIVE OF RURAL LIFE AND SCENERY at Tusculum College in Tennessee. If any of you were able to be at either reading, we’d love reports. If you were able to attend both, tell us how you do it. In the meantime, thanks to Jen Fitzgerald, here are some short and lovely words about Nikki Wallschlaeger’s chapbook I WOULD BE THE HAPPIEST BIRD. Horse Less will be publishing Wallschlaeger’s first full length book early next year, and we are SOOOOOOOO excited.

Here’s a great interview with Dan Brady via The Conversant; among other things, he talks about his interest in the painter Eugene Leroy and how he engages with Leroy’s work in his writing.
